After registering into the tournament, students should await their match day. Here is a list of things that players need to do on that day.
1. Check your upcoming match windows.
2. Queue for your match.
3. Play your match.
4. Report the score.
5. Repeat.
Below you can find a detailed description of each step. These steps only apply to students/players.
1. Check your upcoming match windows.
After logging into your account and looking at the Dashboard, you should see TODAY'S PLAY TIMES section where you can choose different Tournaments you are registered for, and your rosters from a drop-down. After selecting the tournament and roster of your interest, you should see the upcoming queue times for your match, given they are scheduled for that day. Otherwise, they will show up in the Future Play Times section.
2. Queue for your match.
Depending whether you are competing in a solo (1 vs 1) game or a team game, your queue process will be slightly different:
- As a solo player, all you have to do is click on the Join Queue button that will become active exactly at the specified queue time. This will add you to the queue in which you need to stay until your opponent is found (about 15 min).
- As a team, you will have an option to join the queue party before the queue time - this is optional and you may as well join the queue exactly at the queue window time. This allows your team to group up as the minimum amount of players required to play the game is required to queue. Once all members of the team are ready, the leader will have to join the queue by pressing the Join Queue button. All members of the part must stay in the queue party until your opponent is found.
3. Play your match.
Once you are matched with your opponent, you should be redirected to the match page. You will then have to use the match chat to communicate with your opponent, add each other in game and go through all the procedures listen in the Game Rules (e.g. exchange lobby codes, maps bans etc.), in order to start your match. After that, there is nothing else left to do but play. Make sure you know the rules and what is/isn't allowed to avoid disputes being filed against you.
4. Report the score.
After your match is finished, you will need to report the score. You can do so by going back to the match page and inputting values of each game you won into the score fields (e.g. if you were playing best of 5, your score could be 3-2). Lastly, if you want to dispute the outcome of the match, you can do so here.
5. Repeat.
You can queue up for a total of 3 games per day (it can be the same game 3 times or 3 different games 1 time). To do so, simply repeat steps 2-4.
