Become Nintendo Switch friends with your opponent

• The Profile Page is located in the top-left corner of the home screen. Use your left Joy-Con to navigate to your avatar, and then press the physical “A” button on the right Joy-Con
• To add a friend on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll need to share your friend code (or receive another players’ friend code).
• First, navigate to your Nintendo Switch Profile Page on the Home menu, and then navigate to the “Add Friend” tab.
• Your Nintendo Switch Friend Code is located in the bottom-right corner, and it typically starts with “SW,” followed by 12 digits
• Any friend requests you receive will appear in the “Received Friend Request” menu. You can choose to accept or decline these.

Creating Your Race

If you're the host for your match follow the steps below to ensure your race is correctly set up.

• Select “Online Play” (1p)
• Select “Friends”
• Create Room

• After character and kart have been picked, wait for your friend/opponent to join. Once they have arrived, make rules as listed below.
  • 150cc Race
    
  • No team
  • Normal items
  • Easy COMs
  • All vehicles
  • 4 races

• Once you and your opponent are lobbied together, select the map by selecting the “Random” icon.

Joining a Race Lobby

If you are joining a hosted friend lobby follow the steps below

• Select “Online Play” (1p)
• Select “Friends”
• Select the player on your friends list hosting the match (they will have a checkered flag next to their name
• Press Join on the next screen

• Once you and your opponent are lobbied together, select the map by selecting the “Random” icon.
