MSEL Registration FAQ

  • Updated

How do I sign up?

Please see the MSEL Registration Guide for instructions.

My students are younger than 13. How can they sign up?

If your students are younger than 13 years old, your Success Agent will create your student accounts for you. Please reach out to your Success Agent to facilitate this process. If you do not know who your Success Agent is, please email success@highschoolesportsleague.com.

Is there a deadline to register for a tournament?

No. Registration for any MSEL competition remains open for the entire duration of the regular season and will only close when playoffs commence.

How many students can I add to my roster?

Rosters will need to have the minimum amount of required competitors to use our queue system and play a match. For example, Rocket League is a 3v3 game and therefore requires at least 3 players per roster. All rosters are allowed subs if there are not enough competitors for multiple full rosters. Max amount of players allowed on a roster is twice the minimum team size.

What is the difference between a team and a roster?

A team encompasses all of your members (represents your school) and a roster is the list of players playing a specific game.

Is there a maximum/minimum number of students that I need on my team?

There is no minimum or maximum number of students needed to form a team. However, each game will require a different roster size.

How many rosters can I have for one game?

You may have as many rosters for one game as long as one student is not on multiple rosters for the same game.

How do I purchase battle passes?

You may purchase battle passes through the dashboard by clicking on the Purchase Passes tab or if you require an invoice, please email sales@highschoolesportsleague.com.

Do we have to schedule our own matches?

No, all of the games we offer in a tournament are offered on specific days every week with multiple queue times on each day. You simply queue for your match at the time that best works for you.

I gifted a pass to a student and now I can’t revoke their pass. What should I do?

Whoever is gifted the pass becomes the owner of that pass and you will not be able to revoke it or assign it to someone else. Please submit a support ticket here to resolve this issue.
