1.2. Game Lobby
All games will be played in a 1v1 lobby with the following settings.

1.3. Character Selection
The away player will have the first choice of their character, afterward the home player will choose their character. Once a character has been selected, neither player may change to a new character before the start of the game.
For all games after game 1 of the series, the player who lost the previous game will have the option of changing their character. The winner of the previous game must remain on their previously chosen character.
1.4. Map Striking
For all games after game 1 of the series, the home player will strike all but three stages from the map pool. The away player will then choose from the three remaining stages. In the following games, the player who lost the previous game will strike all but three stages, and the home player will select the next map from the remaining stages.
2. Tournament Rules
2.1. Match Streaming
See HSEL General Rule 2.13. "Spectators" and 2.13.1. "Student Streaming".
4. Restrictions
4.1. Disabled Content
Any game content (e.g. characters, skins, weapons, emotes) currently disabled in the Ranked or Normal matchmaking game modes will be prohibited from use in official matches.
5. Stoppage of Play
5.1 Disconnection
Disconnections will be treated as a loss of the current game, and the series will continue. A match forfeit will be issued to any player who disconnects two times during the same series.
6. Team Rosters
Only one roster is required for all Brawlhalla players on a school team. Each player on the roster will be seen as their own individual participant and will be given their own match when they queue at their chosen time. Pursuant to HSEL General Rule 2.11.9.2., "Substitutions are not permitted for solo competitions"
