The following email was sent to all team administrators' login email addresses on the morning of 10/3/22. If you did not receive this email, please contact support and we will ensure that you are on the list.

First, I want to thank you for your patience with us as we navigated the Amazon Web Service partial outage on Wednesday, then our own system outage on Thursday. Our tech team put in many hours of overtime to ensure they identified the cause and have corrected the issue. I am pleased to share that matches this week will move forward as scheduled! See below for the plan for each affected game last week:

Affected Day

Makeup Day

Makeup Time

Wednesday, September 28

Friday, October 7th

All original queue times, plus a new one listed below!

Rocket League

Thursday, September 29

Thursday, October 13th

Utilize up to two normal queue times instead of one!

After receiving feedback from coaches on both sides of the issue, we have elected to let the results from week 1 stand. However, we will increase the number of students qualifying for the playoffs, so students have a better chance to recover from a low score last week.

If these options do not work for you, don’t forget that the regularly scheduled makeup dates are 11/11 and 11/18!

Rocket League – We heard your feedback! Coaches would like to experiment with an (optional) double match day. We are adjusting the queue logic to allow rosters to play a second match for the week on the 13th of October.

I have some exciting news to share about Brawlhalla! First, we have a new participation prize. Starting this week, the first 500 students to complete two Brawlhalla matches and claim the associated quest will receive an in-game code to unlock the legend Ada with her Technomancer skin and both of her unique weapon skins! Codes will be emailed to the teacher on file. Next, registration in Brawlhalla exceeded our expectations, so we added an extra queue at 4pm Pacific to help schools out west.

A final note: We will temporarily be disabling “Future Play Times” on the dashboard during tournament hours. This fix will ensure the stability of our queues until a more permanent update is applied. You can still view the full tournament calendar on the overview!
